★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought some edelbrock heads and roller rockers for my 428 cobra jet engine. Pricing and service at time was very positive.
Approx 6 months later once fitted and run, one of the rockers split in half on the now fully reco engine.
Once out looking at cross section, found roller rocker has been machined at factory extremely thin and has no strength.
Discussed with STA re the issue and must be told fault of mechanic even when presented with evidence. As I had no confidence in the obviously flimsy product I asked for product to be credited and I would upgrade to a stronger product if possible. Told by management after around 6 weeks of being fobbed off they will not swap product and ordered a single rocker replacement.
Now another few months of using found so much flex in rockers I cannot get engine to not heavily rattle. I have purchased new rockers from another company and will never return to STA for any of my vehicles. I was hoping for local customer service to cover me for poor product, but I feel better off buying direct from states and order at much less cost and take risk myself that the product is ok as clearly no local help on this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely disgusting service.. I'm not happy. Have been mucked around. Ordered spark plugs and got the wrong ones, guy said he would come to pick up wrong ones and never showed, then after I made contact again he turned up the next night and said right ones had arrived and would be on first courier in the morning, they were not picked up by courier until 5:30pm that night and now another two days later I still don't have them and have just spent almost an hour on pH to courier company to find out segedins had not put my street number on parcel. So now I won't get it till Monday. I'm not impressed. I could of got some from Oz faster.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there to have my headlight checked, while an Asian look staff helping me with the testing, my battery went flat. My old battery gave me problem several times before, I just kept putting off fixing it.
then Shaun offer to put a new battery in, if I buy one from store... I CAN NOT believe an auto part store can actually help me fixing my car!!
He got out the tools and went ahead installed a new battery for me!!
"It is not that difficult", Shaun actually encouraged other younger staff to be more motivated, to learn more, to do more, it is not that difficult…. I can see that is what he normally does – to lead by example. I got his message… “do not sit on your ass, learning to be just a shop keeper ”
He is AMAZING, I am sure the owner share my opinion, but I still want more people to know Shaun is AMAZING !!!
