★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food, best Indian I’ve ever had anywhere. Decor and vibe doesn’t appeal - but the food is amazing especially if you venture into the more exotic spicy offerings. They do incredible take away also. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the Best Indian restaurants in Auckland. Quality of the food 10/10 you will never regret dining at Thirty One. The interesting part is they have a wide range of spirits and decent wine list. Also you can enjoy the busy crowd environment in Ponsonby. If you think finding a free parking spot in ponsonby is hard, contact them thru phone and their staff will help you find the parking. Good service, good food and good vibes, these guys are amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly I haven't eaten here but I have to say, I had a 20 minute wait for a bus outside here at night and was a bit tipsy, so I asked if I could wait inside to feel a bit safer- not only was I welcomed but given water and some delicious kind of chickpea flour snack. I did not buy anything but the sheer kindness of this and the guy working the bar is worth 5 stars. Definitely want to try the bottomless brunch here sometime!! :) AND I WANTED TO TIP BUT THE BUS CAME SUDDENLY SO MR BAR GUY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE KINDNESS

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a private function for our friends just recently. It was a lovely small event. Delicious food. But the wonder part was the staff and in particular the manager. I was not sure if they were the owner but they were wonder to all the guest at the party.
Whether it's a private function or open bar, having a wonderful time really has a lot to do with the atmosphere and how the staff treat you.
This restaurant gets a 5* rating for awesome cocktails and the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We attended the bottomless brunch here yesterday for a birthday and it was wonderful. Service was amazing, the staff are so friendly and attentive. They were able to cater to all of our needs and went above and beyond, even bringing out a dessert with a candle so we could sing happy birthday. The food was also really good, I had the onion bhaji and vegetarian pizza and enjoyed them both. I loved the pizza and was pleasantly surprised to find the base sauce was butter chicken sauce which took it to another level of goodness.
Would 100% recommend this place for their bottomless brunch as well as the food in general. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for.
