β β β β β Had the worst service here this evening. Front of house staff couldnβt have been any less interested, we were made to feel very unwelcome from start to finish. Everything was a struggle - getting seated, getting menus, getting a drink, getting our food, getting our table cleared. It was like we were invisible. On a positive note, the food was excellent, and a larger group of kiwi Indian friends/family were seated next to us and they got a totally different level of service. Great for them, but seeing the different care and attention they received just made us feel more marginalised. At least the kitchen staff were great.

β β β β β We are lucky enough to have Gymkhana as our local Indian restaurant and eat there every week. The food is 5 star - traditional style and flavours but with a contemporary twist and always beautifully presented. Great attentive service and a warm and inviting ambience make a night out a Gymkhana a wonderful and satisfying experience every time. You won't be disappointed!

β β β β β Excellent food. The Delhi style Butter Chicken was awesome. Their Lamb dish was great as well. We had ordered on-line and the meals were ready well on time. Keep up the great taste. Compliments to your Chefs.

β β β β β This place is a hidden gem. Food is fine style and taste awesome. The curry has complex spice and herbs favours.
I tried a few dishes and like their Goat curry. Tender and soft.

β β β β β Really good food and absolutely five star service. Tequila gol gappas are a must try and the appetisers were great as well. Really enjoyed our evening out there. The person whoβs envied us was really friendly and made some excellent recommendations for the meals.

β β β β β We had a great time on my birthday Eve.
Friend booked "first table" inviting me to join as my pre-birthday celebration. I was a little hesitate in the beginning because this is an Indian restaurant but with fashion style.
In my personal experience this usually means "not so delicious in terms of the food", However, this time turned out to be "not bad"?
You can definitely taste it's a little twist to fit in NZ local, yet it doesn't really loss the authenticity in terms of using indian spicy plus herbs
Deserts were also part of the highlights.
Maybe, the real indian would not be a fan of it, to the "foreigners" like us, we enjoy the night a lot!
In addition, I have to point out, their bar service could be something the best in town! Bartender is good looking, charming, knowing how to interact with the customers, giving you some very good recommendation, most important is the drinks are just beautifully made.
