Great idea, nice location, but employees need training, particularly cashier. First, clearly unmotivated by her position, she was nowhere to be found somewhere in the kitchen. Pizza man had to call her multiple times, and the proceeded to misplace my pizza order. Unfortunate hiring for the person is the face of the place in front of the customers. Beer was great and so was my pizza.

Their franchaise is known to be the best margehrita in the world so I gave it a try. The dough is nice made from scratch and probably something hard to get in the food scene in NZ. However there must be something missing to live it up to its standard! Honestly the tomato base tasted exactly like Watties baked beans and I would be terribly dissappointed if this taste is what made this to be no.1. Its an okay pizza for $15 (mind you this is tax free price) but again, does not live upto reputation. I will try the original one in Melb and see how it goes!

This is one of the new places within the departures terminal at Auckland airport. They specialise in Italian food, primarily pizza. If you look at the back of the shop there is a pizza oven which they actually use to cook the pizzas. We grabbed arancini and a small chicken pesto pizza. We ordered at the counter and when buzzed we were told to go to the pick up window by the kitchen. The arancini was a bit stodgy but the sauce was really nice, which went well with the bread. The flavours of the pizza were ok but the base was quite soggy, so unsure if that was due to the toppings. the small pizza was cut into 4 and is probably single to double serve depending on how hungry you were. There was a fair amount of seating, mostly stools around the area. there were also stools that looked into the pizza prep area too. The pizzas were nice enough but I didn't think they were anything special.
