β β β β β Great accommodation, very new building. It is a little pricy but you pay what you get for here

β β β β β Very cozy, modern residence to visit. Great lobby to meet with friends due to table tennis, pool, music room and plenty of space.

β β β β β Good facilities for the price in Auckland city for Couple studio. Single studios are quite costly though.

β β β β β Very standard condition for accommodation. Cheap, with a small stove in the room. But it is not like a hotel but a dormitory. The administors are not that helpful. No any useful advises. Please deal with everything on your own.

β β β β β Bad residence. Very expensive and "Unilodge" is a for-profit company that tries to squeeze you on everything. Student RAs are overly by the book and think they are auditioning for the CIA, they dont understand its their job to make everyones time enjoyable. Little sense of community, its largely older grad students who dont socialize. Would go someplace else

β β β β β The rooms are great, with a really nice hang out area in the basement, a big screen TV in the movie room and a music room with a piano and a drumset. All the rooms have their own kitchen and bathroom, and are big enough for living comfortably. However there have been a lot of issues with the WiFi, and it's really pricey.

β β β β β Nice place overall, however, My Air conditioning didn't work, and took over a month for them to come to the conclusion in that it couldn't be fixed. I asked for a refund on what i was paying for the AC, for the months it took for them to fix/come up with conclusion, and a reduction in rent as it will not be fixed. They declined both. Ridiculous.

β β β β β I have moved in the Studio Deluxe Apartment in October 2018 and staying for a year. This is the newest university accomodation. If I am not mistaken, the building was finished in 2017, so everything is still quite fresh. One might say that it is expensive (335-360 NZD per week) but I seriously doubt you can find the same quality accomodation anywhere in CBD where you will live alone. There are cheaper options, that's true - but you will have to share an appartment with 3-4 people. If you want to stay alone - this is probably the best option. And it is definetly better, as compared to the other Uni buildings. So what do you get for this price? 1) Relatively spacious room with small kitchen (microvave, kettle, toaster, basic cookware and utencils, small frige, 2 electric hobs), shower, toilet, waredrobe, single bed (with no pillow, blanket etc.), table, chair, armchair, bookshelf, modern TV with USB. 2) WIFI which is the same network as at the University, so you do not have to change the settings on your devices and reconnect all the time. Never had any problem with WIFI since I moved in (Oct,18 - Jan,19) Netflix works just fine =)) 3) Uni Sport Center memebership - 5 mins walk far from the building. 4) Electricity, heating, water - everything is included in the rent, you do not have to pay anything extra. 5) You also save transportation costs as the building is located very close to the campus - 10 mins to OGGB building. There is a spacious common area in the basement with billiards, table tennins, huge TV, and a music room (equipped with amplifier, drum set and piano). Common kitchen is very spacious as well, and there is also a barbeque set in the small but cozy yard. There is a study room as well and a printing machine which is connected to university network, so you can use your university credits to pay for printing/copying. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful, as long as you are friendly as well. There are certain rules regarding private functions and alcohol consumprion, but they are more than reasonable. I have never had any problem or inconvenience during my stay. When I locked my room with a key inside, this problem was resolved in 5 minutes. There are several washing\drying machines in the basement (each cycle costs 2 NZD). Some vending machines with snacks and water are also located in the basement. Some might consider the place is a little noisy if you keep the window open, as there is busy street below, and a hospital whee they deliver patieints on helicopters is also located nearby, but if you close the window - it is quiet in the room, believe me. If you are lucky to get a room in the higher floors - you will also have a great view. To summarise - this is a great place to stay, especially if you are new to the city and just starting your programme at the Uni and do not know anyone you can share an apratment with and have no idea what it is to live Auckland. this place, from my point of view is a great value for money.
