Had to pay $50 for accidentally locked myself out of the door (their door automatically locks when you close it). They didn’t mention this fee before I moved in. That’s just rob! And be prepared to have no internet connection once you move here. Make here your last option when looking for an apartment. They thought you are international student and don’t know what your rights are.

Room 1311 (13th floor, room 11) Anzac Ave (rather than beach street). Standard studio. I really like the view! I have a couple apartment buildings directly across, the harbor (along with a loading bay so I can watch the unloading / loading of a ship which typically takes a couple days) in one direction, and the sky tower in the other. I am finding the building fairly quiet. While I can hear people talking in the corridor - they don't do this much. Only muffled sounds from adjacent apartments. Brand new flat screen TV. Friendly staff. Good internet access. Nice new / modern bathroom / kitchenette with good water pressure. Took a couple laps in the lap pool this afternoon and really enjoying the thought of seeing how well my laps progress over the summer. Generally really happy about the place. Perfect place for writing up a thesis!

Cockroaches in our room, tiny fridge for 3 people and it would freeze everything that was on the top shelf, the water in both sink & shower would get so hot you'd burn yourself. Reception hours werent great on weekends (close @2) and if you lock yourself out you have to pay to get back in your room. Don't be fooled the pool is tiny & the rooms look old, carpet is disgusting. My room didn't even have a real window either.

I lived here for 3 years and have experienced the following: Pros: Accommodation cost is average Walls are solid, blocks noise well Everyone here are introverts. Half the people won't even open their doors when you knock on them. During my stay I have never met any of my neighbors. Ra's hold events during the year where you can meet your fellow residents. Attendance is less than 20%. Reception staff is very friendly. Cons: Upper management is a joke. They micromanage ths resistance facebook page and ban any posts/comments addressing issues inside the resedence and threaten to take permanent action through the uni against you unless you go meet them and appologise eventhough you did nothing wrong. They claim it sours the spirit of the residence. The wifi is a joke, they had a perfect ethernet setup to every room but removed it. The wifi disconnects constantly and is extreemly congested. And both the anzac and beach building share a single 200mbits line to the internet which is rediculous. During the day 6 days a week there is loud construction noise on the one side and during the night there is a lovely karaoke place blasting music till 3am on the other side. Don't expect a quite study enviroment. And lastly any floor above 4th becomes unbarebly hot during the summer. The ventilation in the rooms are pathetic and all the heat from the floors below rises up into your room.

The staff is extremely helpful and understanding about almost any situation that can arise last minute. The property is very well maintained and has great views from high up floors. It is very close to the supermarkets as well and is conveniently located near uni!

It was a very pleasant stay in this accommodation. The people around and the staff were kind. I had a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend to any new student stepping into university life as you will meet new people and potential new friends. :)

Lived here for a year and very pleasant stay overall. The room is quite new and views are lovely. The kitchen is always clean. Location is very close to Countdown and Taiping supermarket.

The only credit I will give is that the receptionist at the end of my stay was a genuinely wonderful person. The rest of the place was mediocre, and the upper management was absolutely awful. I still remember how I simply tried to have a conversation with the owner of the place and got screamed at for no reason. It is a dumpster fire that attempts to harass its tenants. Do not rent this place.
