Annette, was friendly and helpful, took my photo and gave me a temporary licence for use whilst the full one was being prepared for posting to me.
Excellent service. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The star rating is for the nice, pleasant staff. The unfortunate thing is only 2 main helpline desks & 1 for driver licensing! Taupo has grown a lot bigger. It's time for this crucial service to catch up with the demand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Without a doubt one of the most frustrating experiences I have had for a long time. 3/4hr waiting in line on my feet (no seating on offer) and I was only 2nd in line.
When I left there were 6 people in the line. I pity them.
This is what aged people have to endure for license renewals and later on required every year. Not an encouraging prospect.
