★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place for self-contained motorhome overnight. Next to Manawatu river and walks, huge reserve, and even a dog play/training area. Very quiet at night as gates closed

We particularly like this park as it is fenced to keep in smaller dogs, although I did note one area near a large gate where one of mine would likely try to make a break for it (she is an escape artist so we keep an eye on her). Would be awesome to see more parks like this in Palmerston North. Good facilities with a double gate to enter to help ensure dogs don't escape, water and poop bags are supplied, and generally clean. Would recommend
