the staff were amazing compared to other companies i have flown with air new zealand is now my preffered flight company.
on my way back to melbourne i had food poisoning and the flight attendant could see how uncomfortable i was so she offered for me to sit up front, got me a ginger ale and put movies on for my partner.
such exceptional customer service.

โ โ โ โ โ A disaster. We were in a difficult situation. We came to have information about flight canceled by the company and they reject us at the counter saying they don't do international flight ("especially Japan" said with an arrogant behavior).

โ โ โ โ โ We flew domestically and daughter enjoyed watching movies one way but unfortunately there were no personal screen facilities on returning flight. Just getting onto the flight she sadly said โmum there are no TVsโ cookie, chips and lollies kept her silence.

โ โ โ โ โ Very disappointing web booking just now. I was offered online bank transfer as a payment option and then when clicked it was not available so had to pay by card and was charged $2.80 for each one way direction of my trip so $5.60 extra - what a rip off company!!!

โ โ โ โ โ Booked flights to enter Auckland during COVID L3, then after an announcement they cancel bookings, only to have to rebook and pay extra despite no change at all. Sort it out!

โ โ โ โ โ We are still trying to leave New Zealand ! Air New Zealand have cancelled our flights many times ! We canโt get anyone to call us back ! They give you a credit and you cannot get hold of an agent to help you book another flight ! Our original cancelled flight is leaving in two days we need to get on it we need to use our credit and no one will call us back ! I have never ever dealt with such an awful company in my entire life ! I understand that these are unprecedented times but still you would employ more people to deal with a higher than normal demand !

โ โ โ โ โ Air Nz was given over a months notice that due to unforseen circumstances I had to cancel a flight from Christchurch to Auckland. They refused me a credit. I bet they resold the $99 ticket immediately. In my opinion that's thievery!! Stuff Air NZ GREEDY. Why Scrap the credit system? Just ripping off their loyal customers! Go Qantas and Emirates!!

โ โ โ โ โ The worse customer service experienced from any company. If your flight is cancelled you'll be paying extra for alternatives. The average wait time for customer service over the phone is more than 2 hrs. Air NZ know that they can treat their customers like trash, and we are still forced to use them. Let's hope Jetstar expands their air routes or other competitors enter the market.
