★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the flight from Christchurch to Singapore, the counters were supposed to open at 9am but no information were displayed for the same. Had to ask the staff for the info. Will be good if you add the relevant info on the display board.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Singapore Airlines on-line and telephone assistance is abominable. I tried their website first for answers, but when that was no good I had to call for help purchasing additional baggage. After waiting for over an hour to speak to someone I gave up. Their operators are not working on weekends, despite my flight being tomorrow. Terrible.

Yes - Christchurch, not the call center that gave us the run around and dishonest.
That's aside - all I want to say is "thank you to Nick Lye" customer service at Singapore Airlines Christchurch for solving our problems and winning back my wife loyalty to SA.
Nick gave an excellent customer support, and coming from me and my wife that had worked in Dell and a few multinationals - it is a great compliment.
We had another horrible experience after having 2 failed calls to SA customer support (2+ hours waiting and a failure CS from those that lies and pretend to help while having no experience in customer service).
Nick had gone above and beyond today; came to work, even on his holiday - just to solve our problems. Together with his friend, had sorted everything - making our travels hassle free and most importantly a piece of mind that SA is giving the level of service that they are known for.
Thank you for the memories
