Hello and welcome to Akaysha Bay.
I started making jewellery at home and selling it at local markets on the Gold Coast about 8 years ago and I still make most of the jewellery you see on my site
Jewellery making began from a desire to bring some creativity back into my life after being at home raising my family for many years, and it turned out to be something I really enjoyed. A love of colours, gemstones, crystals and different textures keeps me inspired to create beautiful things and learn new techniques. Many pieces are one of a kind and handmade in my Auckland studio.
My lifelong love of fashion inspired me to add a curated collection of beautiful clothing to compliment the jewellery. Each season I choose designs and prints in flattering styles to make you feel comfortable and beautiful in your own skin. I specialise in floaty dresses and kimonos that are easy to wear and make you feel like you are always on vacation.
