Let’s start off with drinks and prices. FINALLY a place in Auckland that doesn’t rip your wallet apart over charging for bottles, jugs, pints, and for the kids out there.....ciders (let’s admit it you love the candy water.)
$10 lion red and speight jugs
$12 Mac gold jugs
Tv’s for the sport people, TAB for you punters. Pokies, a pool table, fire place and a big screen for them important showings.
Live music, well what good place doesn’t have that. Wednesday 7-9pm and Friday 8-11pm. Better the music is actually good!! Not these wannabe people that their mum said “oh you can sing.”
Now most important legends of the place...the staff (well the ones that I know)
Lena - good girl, always out to make ya happy. Great smile with a good set of teeth.
Julie - Germen lass, this chick is aces. She’ll make you laugh, smile and cry at the same time.
Ivan - mate this bloke, looks like one of the meanest bastard‘s ever. But the bloke has a heart of gold, he’ll look after ya.
Amit - this guy is the watchful kind, always good for the chat. He’ll give you what you need.
Johnie - this kid vapes like god, clouds made from god. Want gym advice ask him.
There’s others but I come at night. Look if this doesn’t get your arse down here I don’t know what will. Right, my fingers are sore and I’m going back to my beer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for a beer and to watch the league. When the league came on we asked for a little bit of volume and the bar lady refused because she wanted to listen to music. We weren't impressed and left.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popped in to the Bar with a couple of mates and got attitude from the Female Bar staff from the minute we walked in. She said she would not serve as she thought we had already had too much to drink. Walked around the corner to another bar Federal Street and had no problems ordering 5 drinks each over the course of the next 90mins. No wonder the place looked like a run down Morgue. $ 10 a drink in Federal Street so $ 150 of business was lost. She obviously doesn't own the bar as no business could afford to turn away easy money in this climate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ tired and not just the interior, obviously the kitchen staff too. 5 customers and 1 hr wait for a meal. the salad should have been medium rare but came well done..........need i say more. The barmaid was helpful and charming.
