On the night the team was extremely attentive and it was evident they do functions a lot - everything was on point! Very nice venue and food. Highly recommend The Birdcage Tavern - everything was perfect !!

Phil was the most attentive host and kept us informed throughout the night regarding the bar tab, food, cake etc. It was so easy for us to organize and on the night the staff were awesome. Highly recommend booking your private functions here. The carpark is also a huge bonus, one you won't find anywhere else in Auckland Central! Guests also raved about the food served and the timing of when they arrived were perfect. Thanks again to the team at The Birdcage tavern

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was lucky enough to secure The Birdcage Tavern as the venue for my birthday party on 18 December 2021. I would wholeheartedly recommend booking your function here! The process was made super easy by quick and efficient communication from Phil. The venue has a great feel and vibe to it, it's in a beautiful historic building! The restaurant area is spacious and already had decorations up that worked well with my theme of pink and yellow. It boasts fantastic indoor and outdoor spaces, perfect for large events! Their staff were super helpful, incredibly friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The food was delicious and received rave reviews from my guests!! The sound system was great and the ability to play my own Spotify playlists meant I could tailor the evening's music exactly how I wanted it to go. Oh, and can highly recommend their cocktails!! If you are thinking about booking this place, do it now so you don't miss out!!
