★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved how tranquil the campground is. A hidden gem of a place to stay in our caravan. Such a fabulous setting amongst the forest and so close to go to the shops and pools being only a 2 minute drive away. Great to see so many people walking or biking the cycle tracks. Tracey and Tony are fabulous hosts. So obliging and friendly. Thank You!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rundown and dirty facilities. Shower had just been cleaned prior to use but dirt still covered the floor. Women’s shower locks don’t work. Partner said the men’s showers were worse and even smaller. Information booklet states wifi available throughout- you must pay for this. Laundry facilities provided - also need to pay for this. We traveled the entire westcoast, this was the most expensive campground we stayed at and had the worst facilities. Rubbish spilling out of bins and in a huge mess. We were essentially given a parking space for our camper as the group beside us had 4 campers and an additional 4 cars coming/going which took up the rest of the space around us. We also should have looked into the location of this campground as it’s 30mins walk from the town centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We planned to stay at an unpowered site, but promptly after arriver and setting up our tent one of our group members was harassed repeatedly by an abusive person staying in the cabin next door. We left immediately as we felt extremely uncomfortable, and let the owners know as soon as we had left and requested a refund.
No contact was made, followed up two days later and was told no refund would be given as the owners had talked to the people who had harassed us and decided that we were lying. This was without asking us what happened or attempting to rectify the situation. Still no refund and are ignoring subsequent contact, so am leaving a bad review to let others know:
Don't stay here as this business doesn't take harassment seriously

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful sites, good facilities and a lovely woman working in the office. The camping spots are connected to a bush filled with hundreds of native birds and it's only a few hundred meters away from walking tracks. Even better is that it's a few k's out of town meaning you can escape the busyness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't even get the chance to stay. Rude/awful discussions with a lady about when and why we were staying. Asking for personal details that shouldn't have been requested. Threatened further charges to a credit card due to the amount of people staying. Our booking was then cancelled without being notified. An automatic email was sent from booking.com advising of the cancellation. No reason as to why. Absolutely disgusting service and rude manners. Wouldn't recommend.

Scenic setting, dated but spotlessly clean bathroom, nice hot shower, friendly staff member at check in, lovely above ground pool, free wifi and a late checkout. A couple of minutes drive from town. Was probably quarter to half capacity when I stayed so was really peaceful. Lovely bird and insect life. Would def stay again. Only suggestion- bring bug repellent (I forgot mine and got eaten alive by midge like things).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fantastic place to stay. The forest is across the road. Far enough out of town to be peaceful and waking up to birdsong instead of traffic is delightful. Tracy and Tony are great hosts, nothing is a problem. Cabin was lovely and the shower is awesome. Charley the dog had a great time meeting other dogs, walking forest tracks and swimming at the ford. Highly recommend for a peaceful, refreshing place to stay
