★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in apartment 1. High quality fittings and furnishings. We loved the underfloor heating, the gas fire and the spa bath. Lovely sheltered patio to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine in the sun. Modern kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook (we brought 3 days’ worth of ‘My Food Bag’ with us) and everything we needed to prepare our meals was provided. We will definitely return as this was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. It made me wish I lived in Hanmer! My only negative would be that the wifi daily allowance was minimal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well appointed unit with some great feautures. The queen bed was fabulous. Cosy, warm & one of the most comfortable bed I've slept in just about ever. Highly recommend for a weekend away or even longer. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent! A very well run establishment indeed. Absolutely clean and tidy. Friendly hosts, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, quality furnishings, good location in a nice area and even underfloor heating. Really help makes our short 2 nights stay in Hanmer Springs a restful break for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Firstly the rooms are amazing, we got shown to our room and were blown away. We went out to enjoy the scenery. Got home then it started, if you don’t get a top floor room do not bother coming to stay. Every foot step echoes through the apartment chairs scraping along the ground. This is no fault of the staff who are great, but it does make an impact on the experience. Would we stay here next time, unfortunately not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was warmed up for us when we got there. Milk was offered for the room. Nice suprise of washing machine and dryer in the apartment. Spa bath and heated towel rails were added bonuses. Everything you would need in a kitchen.
5 minutes (or less) walking distance to town centre, thermal spas or nature park walk. Very relaxing and lovely staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely motel. Beautiful comfy bed, the best part was the room setting was just like being at home. The motel would be great for long stay or even living in.
The only down points were that you can hear the people in the room above you stamping around. And look out if you are tall. When using the toilet the towel rail us at head height for the over 5 foot.
The motel is a gentle 4 to 5 minute stroll to Hanmer township. Yet far enough away to be able to site outside the motel in your private courtyard area, and not hear the hustle and bustle of town.
Again situated on the main road to a aray of mountain bike or walking tracks, just perfect.
Again a beautiful motel that does have a high price point. But this does arract a better clientele , would we stay again, yes of course we would.. would we bring the larger family unit. Sadly no as we would rent a house. Did I say the beds are so so comfey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My sister and I could not fault our apartment. It was beautifully clean and had everything we needed to make our week stay great. Serviced everyday and the bonus of a daily newspaper to. The owner was really nice to deal with and very friendly. We loved Hanmer Springs and would highly recommend The Village Lake Apartments a great place to stay and so close to town.
