★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went in tonight for some cocktails & food. Best food we’ve tasted for a while! Lamb Rump was cooked perfectly & Scotch Fillet was divine, our platter was very tasty too. I got the Woo Woo cocktail - it was soo refreshing & my partner got the Toblerone cocktail which was delicious. Everything was top notch - including the service from the lovely staff! We will 100% be back for more!!! Thanks guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw Amayjen had moved to Palmerston North so went to check it out for lunch. Absolutely amazing!! Great lunch menu with a range of dishes suited for everyone, drinks menu had a good selection, staff were all friendly, venue looks gorgeous! Food was also amazing and at a great price. Dumplings come with a bit of spice which is a pleasant surprise. Very warm and cozy, highly recommend this place to everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If i could give this restaurant 100 stars I would. Servers were so lovely and friendly when we visited. They all provided really good recommendations on what to eat and drink. Ordered the lamb shank, chicken breast and eye filet and it was all so delicious. Have been raving about our experience to everyone and will definitely be coming back soon ?

We had the breads and dips and Brie cheese for start, all flavours were lovely. 9/10
Then for main I had the eye fillet and got extra Mushroom & Béarnaise sauce. Sauces and jus were quite strong but my eye fillet was cooked to perfection ?? Potatoes were lovely. 9/10
My friend had prawn ravioli, I think she was expecting prawns with ravioli but it’s minced up prawns in the ravioli. 9/10
And the desserts were amazing to look at.
We got the strawberry taco ? 10/10
And the Lemon tart 9/10.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came for my birthday tonight. First encounter in the door from (the owner?) left very bad first impression. Entrees (date and prawn dishes) left something to be desired, lamb rack tasted basic. The chicken main was flavourful and the deserts were quite nice (Sunday and taco) although the menu said the sunday comes with homemade marshmallows, however, the ones we were given didn't appear homemade... (Density, texture and flavour of Pascal's marshmallows) while the marshmallows on the taco were the size, texture and flavour of homemade ones. Food was well presented but lacking in the flavour department. Waitress was very friendly. Wouldn't go back due to high price of food that wasn't very satisfying.
Super surprising that this place has such a great overview (more than 4 stars) with reviews from 2 years ago but the Palmerston North store opened only 3+ months ago... Should be about 3.4 stars looking at reviews from today until 3 months ago...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really delicious! They provide vegan options if you ask for them. I had an incredible vegan tofu quinoa salad and my friend had a delicious lamb rump. Am going back again this Sunday!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food though a very slow service. I had their eye fillet which was excellent. The starter was very tasty and well presented. The desert looked great and tasted fine. The service staff may need some training and the ambience is clean though a little lacking in character. Certainly lots of upside potential here. The chef knows how to cook and present! The wait during a busy dinner time was around 90 minutes.
