★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good hut with space to cook, but no cookers (bring your own). It has drinking water, tables to each and the bunk beads are really comfortable. There are even some USB plugs for the phones. But just to expensive in my opinion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Modern Hut. You can go under a roof from bunks to toilet. If is raining a really nice detail. Two USB-Connetors for recharging and Wi-fi. Filter Water. A shower at the beach. the bunks not to big. And the view over the bay is beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily the nicest hut you will see in a while! Hut must be prebooked in high season as its crazy popular. Hut was built in 2013, great large lounge area with woodburning stove, huge kitchen with stainless steel benches and sinks (no cookers - bring your own), device charging station inside! Electric lighting inside on a photometric and motion sensor. Filtered drinking water available. Stainless steel flushing loos. Beds are in 4rooms of 8 beds per room - set onto a common verandah. Bag slots in rooms. Individual (not communal) bunk beds with mattresses. MDF benches and seats in common room. Fantastic view to beach and sunrise/sunset. 30seconds walk to a gorgeous beach. Lots of wild birds around hut. Fantastic hut to stay in. Really sets the bar high for future DOC huts in popular locations. Refer DOC website for more info. DOC ranger was funny and really decent and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful beach.good walk . Very safe and good for solo, family and friends. Slight uphill climbing will be there during the walk. Else you can enjoy the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New hut which is spacious with wood burning stove which was a blessing as we were soaked through when we arrived. Washing lines (indoor & outdoor) for drying clothing. Large kitchen, filtered drinking water, no gas or cooking facilities, you need to bring your own. Clean toilets with paper provided, no showers. Each dorm has 8 bunk beds with mattresses which are firm but comfortable. Lovely bay, clear water. There is a small glow worm cave past the low tide track to Torrent Bay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hut, one of the biggest. Very popular, but comfortable and quiet in night hours. You have to take your own sleeping bag (or rent it at water taxi offices. Anchorage buy is about 4/ 4 hour and a half from the town, however its possibile through water taxi to reach any bay and then head to the hut. Remember to reserve via DOC website.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow!... Easily the best hut we had stayed in during our hike.
Plenty of bedrooms so if travelling on the off season, you have a good chance of having your own private room.
It even has USB charging points which were very much appreciated!
Facilities were great and it really did have everything you needed.
