★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sufficient equipment but impolite staff, they never greet you. The only thing i receive are stares from them. It makes me feel uncomfortable, now i only go there if i really need to use the equipment that is unavailable at Anytime Fitness Christchurch Airport. Anytime Fitness Riccarton should really solve this problem as i could see from other people's reviews that I'm not the only one feeling the same way. I've been attending this gym since February this year and it has always been the same.You guys should learn to be polite like how the staff members who's currently working at Anytime Fitness Christchurch Airport. They'll greet you and say goodbye when you leave!! I'm not trying to be rude here but please, can the staff members in Anytime Fitness Riccarton at least smile when they see us?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would not recommend going to this Anytime fitness gym, If your able to go to Shirly or Horny I would go there! Every staff member is rude, especially the women. You will not receive a hello or goodbye here, you will only receive stares. I will be working out and on numerous occasions I will have to stop because the instructor has invaded my space or has decided to bring their client right next/on top of me to work out. On one occasion the client came over and apologised because she could see what had happened. The gym is small, however the instructors could make it easier for us and not invade our workout space. The women instructors either stare at me or I can tell they are talking about me, which makes me very uncomfortable. This is not every time, but has happened, at least on two occasions! Some people that go to gyms, may not feel the best about them selves and may feel uncomfortable, on top of feeling that way, going to this gym will make you feel worse. I never do reviews on anything, even if the pizza I ordered was terrible or a staff member was rude to me, I simply don't bother, I'm not someone that's very vocal, nor do I let things get to me. However the workers at this gym have made my experience so uncomfortable every time I go, I needed to write this review and hope they either change their attitudes or even to warn people off. I have been a member of gyms from Australia, UK and NZ and this gym by far is the worst, it's a shame these people are representing Anytime fitness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good gym - free weights, machines and cardio. Great staff. Open 24 hours, guest passes. Good promotions. What more can one want in a gym?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been using the gym for several years and like the convenience of been near the park for running. The showers could be a bit cleaner but that is often the case with a 24 hour gym. I usually go in the morning and it is usually not too many people there so getting to the machine you want is never a problem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked to put on hold the membership i been told that its on hold for two months but i was still got changed then i again told them to please cancel the membership I emailed them then received call ,person on phone was rude and said ok they will cancel the membership but again i am getting charged
I am mom who been struggling to pay for basic needs and getting harassed by this place for no reason trying to reach out to consumers rights people as soon as possible but want other consumers to know how this place works

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a great home away from home when I came to work in Christchurch. Unfortunately due to the mosque tragedy or project continued for about a month longer than expected.
Riccarton Anytime Fitness was a handy place to train in the evenings and was never really too full.
I will return next time I am in Christchurch
