★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please don't go here, otherwise you'll all know the secret of this niche venue! Wonderful service combined with such a chilled out atmosphere. My friend said she felt like she was in another country! So to get your international travel vibe you could head to Volstead and try their perfectly delicious sav blanc on tap with a scrumptious snack - well, that's what I had anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A venue that caters for everyone. A converted garage next to a home-style brewery behind the gym. There is an outdoor area that appears exclusive by a fireplace. The inside is warm and welcoming. They have a great selection of local beers. Finger bar food from a small converted trailer at the back. Occasionally there is a live band playing in the corner. Best jazz around Christmas time.

Update 18/03/22 been back a few times since last review. Things have changed. I know things are tough and that why people go out for some hospitality, hospitality was missing, and the beer tasted old. Yes it is dull asking for vaccine passes. I'll be steering clear for a while, pity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Volstead is a great place for a pint of beer. The authentic beer atmosphere is amazing! A selection of interesting beers, and the types to choose from are constantly changing. When we went there were at least 20 kinds of beer available to enjoy at any time. The atmosphere is interesting.
