Too slow and there were only 2 people doing the service that I want. Try the one at the other end of the street. That one is better.

I was a National Bank customer living overseas, with a mortgage and credit card with them. Big corporation, ANZ Bank purchased my bank. ANZ refused to renew my credit card because my income was primarily from overseas, despite the fact that my mortgage is now with them, and never missed a payments, and my overseas income and assets are very substantial. Rigid bureaucracy run amok. No regard for this customer.

ANZ is the worst bank I ever seen on earth. Ten days and twenty questions to open an account. Five days to make an appointment (and the only way to do that is by phone which they almost never answer). Offer to help u to make appointment but ignore u when u ask. No confirm message after u finally made an appointment. And when u phone them, they said can't find the booking record. Promised multiple times to send me confirm message but never did. Customer service has no idea if my document is acceptable. This bank motivates me to search on Google how to give zero star.

If I could put 0, I would! I have been banking with ANZ for more than two decades (started with National Bank). They were good in the past, but now, the worst bank I have ever dealt with! The waiting time is tremendously long (someone says you can even do all your house chores, including cleaning your toilet and scrubbing your floor plus cleaning out the kitty litter, while waiting the line). An unprofessional, rude, and unknowledgeable customer service. They can't answer simple banking questions! So after all those time you spend listening to their 'funky' music, your answers are still somewhat unanswered, and you feel heavily interrogated for nothing! Time to change bank.
