★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location lots of space has toilet handy and picnic tables . Fishing and swimming close by. Could do with some rubbish bins for lazy people!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The campsite itself is great. Lots of space and close to the river. The toilet however is obviously not cleaned regularly as there are heaps of insects and spider webs.
We were impressed with the council who looked after the site as their staff/representative warned us about the high rising river and asked us to move to higher ground. We appreciate their safety concern.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positives: its free! Clean toilet! The grass is mowed!
Negatives: Right next to the freeway and very noisy. There is no water source other than the river which in this spot looked pretty stagnant. No sheltered spots so if youre in a tent, a bit of wind and rain will make for a long night.
