★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Cafe, great food, coffee and other drinks etc. and cosy,maybe a little small inside but all that's generally required and if the weather is good, plenty of outside seating. Has become one of the favourites for the locals in Opunake. Nice and friendly with a very good food selection, nice easy to get to location at the northern end of the shopping street with the food market shops, book and other shops nice and close with plenty of parking spaces. The carrot cake here is the best, great selection of homemade pies as well.

The staff are pleasant and a delight, came out and made sure everything was fine and enjoyed a laugh with us. Very welcoming atmosphere and food is top notch. Great county tucker and the pies are on the larger side. Will definitely stop in again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delish food. Unfortunately for the waist line, we did this place 2 mornings in a row. Pies were yum and eggs Benedict, bacon n eggs were awesome. If you're wanting a good breakfast this is the spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Morning coffee stop, during recent Surf road highway tour in RV. Great lottle cafe, excellent coffee & carrot cake. The pies are made in house and are generously proportioned and great flavour selection- pork & apple . We bought one for takeaway for later lunch stop, yummo. Recommend
