RVE’s connection with the automotive world began with founding father, Victor. Born on the back seat of a 1931 Model A Ford, he began a close relationship with leather and automotive design that continues in the current generation.
Victor (1946-1996) devoted himself to serving others, and creating the most bespoke car interiors in the world. He brought couture to cars; designing and creating interiors to meet the specific requirements of the most discerning drivers. Across countless hours, designs and models, he honed his skills and earned his reputation.
Cars were created that felt as good to drive or ride in as they did to look at on the road. In doing so, Victor stitched the foundation of RVE into the fabric of the New Zealand automotive industry.
