β β β β β If you like leaving your car for a service and coming out with more issues than you came to the right place. This car has been parked inside my garage through this last lockdown and I am the only that uses it but after leaving it for a service and WOF, I got a call a few hours later from the dealership saying the fuel flap was broken. I'm the only that drives and fuels this car, and I know that the fuel flap only opens when the car is stopped/unlocked. Sadly there is no way for me to prove this was broken when it was at the dealership so now I have an unexpected quote for NZD426 to replace the fuel flap, with lack of details for each item. I'll find another place to get this fixed and get any future services or work done on the car.
EDIT May 5, 2022 - Found another place in the North Shore who was able to fix the issue at less than half the price, only replacing a small piece in the mechanism when you were trying to charge me for the fuel cap and more. 4 months after leaving my review they answer asking to contact their Sales Manager or Service Manager. I suggest that the Continental Cars Audi or whoever is the parent company makes a change because your company is heading in the wrong direction. Bad customer service destroys businesses.

β β β β β We had a terrible experience here. It started with our booking, we booked almost 2 weeks in advance, they mentioned that there was a recall on our model that we needed to check and that they could do this at the same time. That was great so we said yes, please do that too. We had the service booked for a Saturday and they only called me on the Friday before to say that they couldn't do the recall on the same day. They said they would need to keep the car until Monday. Why they couldn't have told us this much earlier, I'm not sure. I tried to arrange a different time as we needed the car on Sunday but they couldn't make it work so we had to change our weekend plans to take the car in on Saturday and leave it there until Monday.
On Monday, I received a call from them about everything on the car that needed repairing. I was very shocked to find out that the battery was faulty, the tires were cracked and the wheel alignment was out. We only purchased the car a few weeks before and we had a full check done by a mechanic and all of these things were tested. I called the mechanic that did this check and he confirmed that none of these things need replacing and that Continental Cars was just trying to up-sell me. They had quoted me over $2,000 for all of these repairs.
On Monday we went to pick up the car and didn't realise until we had left that it had not been cleaned, something that is supposed to be included in the service. This had us concerned that maybe there were other things that could have been missed in the service. They did offer that we can bring the car back to be cleaned for free but we live far away so the drive back is not worth it for us.
On top of all this I found the customer service to be extremely poor. We were dealing with Miguel and each time he needed to contact us he said that my husband's phone number didn't work. His phone number definitely does work, lots of other people call him on that number and we sent it to Miguel a few times to make sure he had it right but he insisted it didn't work. So each time he wanted to contact us, he emailed asking that we call him. When we did, no one would answer, it would take me to reception. I would explain to reception but they wouldn't listen to me and would just put me back through to Miguel who didn't answer again. This happened multiple times!
Overall this was an extremely frustrating experience and we will not be returning.

β β β β β Purchased the most expensive 2017 Q7 on trade me, $85k. Everything went well during the sales process. We took the car to Ebbetts in Hamilton who advised that the pads and discs needed replacement. Continental agreed to replace the pads ($1300), but Iβm not prepared to replace them on discs that are unevenly skimmed. Thatβs the reason they are chewing out the pads because they are skimmed unevenly. The vehicle needs new discs and pads. If I replace the pads, I will have to replace them again very soon and then the discs also because of the uneven wearing. $2221 inc gst to replace front discs. The reason they donβt want to replace the discs is because they are saying they are only 27% warn. This is true across 95% of the disc, but the edges are faulty, and someone is going to have to pay for this. When I brought it, the salesperson told me that the tyres breaks, and discs were all at least 75% which tells me I have many years before they need replacing.

β β β β β I had an extremely poor buying experience, that was very stressful and disappointing. I gave them the opportunity of addressing the situation and all I got was a very defensive response and no apology. I expected better service of a Dealership like this.

β β β β β Seems They canβt get their acts together, my Q7 was due for service so I booked and was attended by Allan when I dropped the car off & picked up the loan car that was all good start but when I picked up my Q7 I discovered the problems was not fixed properly so I had to contact Allan again and from this point was really hard to get hold of him so left messages and emails , out of 5 he responded 1 then never heard from him or anyone there again I had to call reception and ask her to pass on my messages to Allan. Was like chasing ghosts What kind of service does audi Continental car provide to its customers???? None in my options and so many other customers who Had similar bad experience would agreed. Donβt go there avoid at all costs and spend your dollars elsewhere.

β β β β β I bought a 2010 Audi Q5 from Continental Cars Audi in Newmarket in Feb 2015 for almost $55 000 & had issues with it pretty much from the start, including paintwork issues. The paintwork issues were resolved twice (with my paying at a "special rate" the second time), only to return in new places. As expressed in other reviews, I too wasnβt always happy with my routine services.
By 2019, transmission issues which were too costly to afford, has meant the car is basically now βa white elephant,β sitting under my carport, only to be used for very short distances. There is no other way I would describe the car, other than being a complete dud. Nobody would expect an almost $55 000 car purchase to basically last 4 years! And certainly not when bought from a registered dealership like Continental Cars. I cannot even begin to express my complete and utter disappointment, even now still.
Why have I taken so long to post a review? I hadnβt thought about it, until a friend who has just bought herself a BMW X5 asked why I no longer drive my Audi. After explaining, she said I should post a review to inform other potential buyers of my experience. Considering the Dealer Principal is still the same as 4 years ago, I thought why not.
So would I recommend Continental Cars Audi in Newmarket? Absolutely not!

β β β β β I need my car diagnosed due to some mechanical issue. I made my phone call and booked an appointment to bring my car in. The whole team from technician, service team members and the crews are very helpful and friendly. The service was good. No need to wait very long. Browsing all the amazing cars. Thank you Audi continental cars.

β β β β β Terrible service experience, Not happy with Allan the service advisor. Audi A5 MLP492, first of all, Service Advisor was never available at his desk, tried plenty time to get status about the car. I send the car for the convertible roof was not working- they found the problem motor is not working after they rebuilt the motor after repair found something else - why don't you guys do the proper diagnose. Is it the way authorized dealers doing??
I clearly told Allan do not to put the roof back, I think he is deaf, didn't listen to the customer, even he put the roof back but leave all door trims, boot trims open hanging like in the photo. Allan is asking for more money to put it back. I spend $3244.00 to fix the problem and it still says need more time and money to diagnose. Today I called Allan luckily he found on his desk and explain hole story, conversation is still on going and I think he loose his temper and hang up the call- this is the service from Continental Audi? You guys lose the trust from customer.
Continental Audi means poor service, rude service advisor.
Never ever suggest anyone for Continental Audi.
Giltrap Audi is much better than you guys.
