These guys are good! I actually stopped in there to use the toilet and ended up buying a car a month later! In saying that, Ian Koen was extremely helpful without being pushy. He certainly knows his product and took the time to drill down to what my needs were. The rest of the team was friendly and professional with Steve helping out in sorting the appropriate insurance. To date their after-sales service can't be faulted either. I'll being buying through them again.

Honestly after owning BMW's for the better part of my Driving life, now on a late model G01, Akl city BMW genuinely has put me off the brand. They are so unorganised, the last 5 visits I've never had a call to say my vehicle is ready, the last 3 times it hasn't been groomed. I give them times I finish work and would like to pickup the vehicle and they always run late. The service advisers are condescending and clearly out to hit sales targets always pushing service items not due or not required. Not to mention some pretty shoddy work - had to have a windscreen fitted 3 times.

My BMW (2008 320i) suddenly stopped few days ago. I called AA, they said the battery is old and need replacement. I replaced the battery from AA but the issue came back. I took my car to BMW service centre and the first thing I was told that the battery is bought off the market, it is not registered and may not work. I asked them to fix and in the meantime contacted AA. BMW service centre fixed some bolts and ran some scans and said its good to go. They charged me 250$ for this. The next day the car stopped again and i had to get it towed to a proper mechanic. I don't understand how a BMW Service Centre, who take pride in their diagnostic scans, could not diagnose the issue when my car was with them for 2 days. I trusted them when they said the car is good to go ! The car actually stopped on a motorway in a dangerous situation. It caused distress to me and my family. Today, I got a call from them and I explained the whole situation and I was told that since the car didn't break down when it was in their service centre therefore it is not their fault. Well, I ask them the car clearly had an issue , it was with them for 2 days then how could they not diagnose it? I feel, may be, I was just a small customer to them. I expect them to improve their service - before it causes a serious incident.

Overall experience in buying this car here is excellent. We also feel confident that we won't need to do anything with the car until the next service due which is quite away.

Auckland city BMW Epsom put me off with wanting a bmw car now. They are rude and only treat people with high expectations with respect. For me to walk in with my children I felt like I was looked at in a disgusted way..idk if it was the way I dressed or because I’m brown islander or I didn’t wear a suit or have an expensive handbag like everyone else. The price range to fix the car is bloody ridiculous. Every year I spend over 5k just to service my car (X5) and they’re always pulling things up that’s wrong with the car. My car gets serviced regularly and not once that I’ve gone in have they ever said β€˜no problems’ after a servicing. Just money wasted spending over $1000 I will take my car to service somewhere else. BMW team are rude

Had my car serviced last year (2021)and it was entirely a horrible experience: 1. Offered FREE WOF (in emails, also confirmed over the phone when booking)but still charged me (for WOF) when I picked up. I had to waste time to call them afterwards asking for a refund 2. Charged me $1200 for a full service (diesel) with a lot of items (including micro filters, air filters, etc) replaced, despite the fact that I had a platinum service (most expensive option) with AA in 2020 with these same items replaced just one year ago. Therefore, if you ever had your car serviced at other places like AA (service record not loaded to BMW system) I don't suggest you to bring the car back to AC BMW for a service, because the way that AC BMW tells if the part needs replacement, is based on their BMW service history, NOT THE CONDITION OF THE PARTS. I believe that, if you spend big $$ at a place (not BMW, hence no record) and even the following day you bring your car to AC BMW, they will replace the same items again, no matter how new the items are. And their explanation will simply be: our system does not have the record for the replacement of the parts(done at other places, not BMW) hence the computer will still read it as SERVICE DUE, REPLACEMENT DUE
