★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Young guy came to holiday park to help with bike that wouldn't start he gave us a jump start and when we got down to the garage they all were trying to find us another battery, then they rang garage in methven, this was our next stop, I couldn't be more grateful for all the help they did, westcoasters are always happy to go the extra mile, thanks Hokitika Automotive you guys are the best

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rang to enquire re changing a tyre for me on my 4x4 ute. No problem! I took it down at the time they suggested and they did it while I waited. Each member of staff I dealt with was really pleasant and the service was simply outstanding. Yes, great job, great attitude on time and extremely reasonably priced! Thank you so much! Very highly recommended.

They have an experienced team with different expertise so they can assign the best person which is helpful as I've had a few different issues with my car. They came to my house to jump start me when my battery was flat, replaced spark plugs and battery, they've fixed a faulty electric window and serviced my car. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Actually an older issue from 2020 but still have an issue from the work done on my 4x4. Took it for a service, told my seals needed replacing, got that done which took about 2 weeks. Then after I got it back the truck was leaking oil. $400+ for the work. Not wanting to take it back to the same mechanic I went to another mechanic, showed me the gasket seal was incorrectly installed, causing the leak and potentially damaging my truck even more. I was disappointed with this work and it caused a compression issue which I had to have fixed, tracing back to the 2020 botched install. Normally you take a truck to get fixed not damaged at the mechanics. Out of pocket and out of confidence in this business.
