★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven't actually had any empanadas yet, but have tried the quince tart, ricotta cake and chocolate alfajores. All were delicious but the last two were spectacular. The couple that run the place are so friendly, happy to have a chat and interesting to talk to. Great to have this special place so close by, but if I lived elsewhere, it'd be worth a trip to Kilbirnie!

I had the Champis empanada. A great taste of cheese and mushroom in a lovely baked dough.
Followed by a white chocolate sweet treat!
Recommend for lovers of pies, sweet treats and a great atmosphere.

We ordered chicken, beef, mushroom and caprese, then we added a vegan and a spinach one, we just couldn’t have enough!
The staff was friendly and the service fast.
This is a must!

Tried their desserts and was too sweet for me. However, I would recommend though for the service and worth it to try !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say! Aye! Empanadas are the bee's knees. We ordered a bunch of smaller (10cm) empanadas for a work event, and they were absolutely delicious. It was so easy to organise with the owner (and they were a world away in Argentina). We were well looked after, I would not hesitate to order again!

- I am happy they are baked, not deep fried
- Large range of interesting, clever & unique filling options
- They seem to be made with genuine care & thoughtfulness
The handmade biscuits are good, but too sweet for my taste.
