β β β β β After being unable to secure a table at a small, cosy cafΓ© in Miramar with a reputation for great food and service we ended up here. After a short wait we were shown to a table which must be where they put the groups, the din was unbelievable.
For reasons that arenβt clear the menu in-store was different to that online - no Eggs Montreal (salmon) for her, so she had the beef burger and I had the Eggs Bennie. No shakes available, so had an average mocha instead.
The food arrived and her burger was okay, did what it said on the box and no more, but my Eggs Bennie was a disappointment. My first thought when it arrived was pale and anaemic, and it lived up to the billing. The muffin was untoasted, cold and stodgy. The ham was incredibly budget, warmed up but dry, however the eggs themselves were perfectly poached. One out of three ainβt bad.
Another dining experience let down by the kitchen.

β β β β β Overall a 3/5. I would like to give it more, but it wouldn't be a true reflection of our experience today.
Location is great, with wonderful sea views and watching the planes at the airport. Staff are amazing as well; really good service.
The food was average, with decent prices. Have heard that the food from the cabinet is really good. I will probably come back and give the cabinet food a go.
A point to note, when they say a pail full of wings, etc. It is only partially full. Bulked up with scrunched up paper underneath. In saying that though, they are pretty decent serving sizes for the price.
The place is very popular and was quite noisy inside. Outside seating available and is dog friendly.

β β β β β A great spot for watching the planes land as well as watch the sea. Quite loud inside and only good to sit outdoors on a nice (not windy) day. Food was adequate, pail not full pail so was disappointing

β β β β β Amazing location with beautiful views, especially on a sunny Wellington day, and real cool decor. But the food is not good value for money. I had the pulled pork tacos and got 3 small tacos for $26. The meals are a little over-priced for what you get and the customer service was very average. Our coffees and drinks arrived after our meals and one drink was almost forgotten about. Staff were unattentive and unfriendly. I wouldn't rush back there.

β β β β β Nice busy place to have a meal. Quick polite stuff, always great pie/tart/cake variety. Awesome view, lovely looking rusty interior - this is a good kids friendly place for any part of the day. I wish Goose has longer hours on Thursdays-Saturdays. Thank you!

β β β β β Located with the beach right across the road this establishment offers all day brekkie and has seating indoors and outdoors. Brekkie was what I was after on this first visit (but not the last). My meal was good and I will try to pop in again when I'm in windy Welly in October. I'm looking forward to trying other things on their menu so watch this space.

β β β β β This is a busy cafe, great location near to the airport to get a bite to eat before travelling.
Great service and coffee and the various selection of food we all tried was delicious.
Great for plane spotting and watching take offs over the harbour. Beach across the road.
