★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and child and I were unwell . So we went to the Bakerfield medical in manukau . We went to the covid centre next door . We got told it would be an hour and half wait time . Than the nurse called us and when we got in we got told the doctor will see us next and was put in a room . After a wait of around 45mins to an hour I enquired when will the doctor see us. The nurse said the doctor who was meant to see you had gone home and there 9 other people before you . This is disappointing service as my husband couldn’t sit for too long and my child and I weren’t well either . We didn’t get informed about 9 other people in front of us when we got told we were next . Really not good service . If we would have been told that we have to wait longer than we would have gone somewhere else

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upon arrival, I reported to reception, the receptionists were rude, didn’t acknowledge me or make eye contact. (Very poor service and need to be trained on client service). One of the receptionists pointed at her fellow colleague (receptionist), did the receptionist loose her voice!?? Was she non-verbally telling me to go to the next receptionist? I am finally served, and take a seat in the waiting area..I notice the receptionists giggling as I’m waiting!! So you do have a voice!! $35 to be seen by a doctor for my son , almost a 2 hour wait to see a nurse and then an hours wait to see a GP who apologised and said they were short staffed and she was the only GP on today.
Unprofessional, rude, no respect, disappointing! Bakerfield Medical & Urgent Care Clinic ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been with Bakefield medical center for a number of years, we found the receptionists and nurses are always helpful. We normally see doctor William Angus and he is excellent. But today’s experience with doctor Cynthia was terrible, we found her abrupt, no patience/manner, rude, a bit of understanding and sympathy to explain certainly would help to ease the pain my husband was suffering

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unable to cancel an appointment using their internet booking system. Calls went unanswered even after several attempts we drove there and sitting outside could clearly see 2 staff there, laughing and talking but not answering the phone. There were 2 patients in the waiting room. Receptionist remarked to my daughter that she should use the online booking but after being advised it could not be done online she did not attempt to check if this was not working or offer an alternative how else a cancellation could be made. Possibly charge for appointments not needed but not cancelled…..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst medical centres in Auckland. Rude receptionists and doctors. Recently took dad there for injury. First doctor who saw him was so rude and unprofessional. She asked me to take his bandages off while he had a injured foot. Like she was disgusted to even assess him. Horrible woman! Also been charged $60 for casual prescription. Receptionist kept on arguing with us about how we saw the doctor for prescription! While the doctor didn’t even check his medical conditions or consult him. It was literally taken his prescription from a previous doctor and sending prescription approval to a pharmacist. It says on their website casual prescriptions with GP approval is $30! No where on there price list that says $60 for casual patients prescription. Feels like these receptionists are making up numbers out of thin air! Taking advantage of persons need for urgent medication. Giving it a 1 star for the some kind nurses who helped us and did a fantastic job of dressing his wounds without discrimination. Apart from nurses horrible receptionists & doctors. Places like this should be investigated for the unethical and ridiculous amounts for overcharging elderly patients. Try to avoid going to this place unfortunately this is the only place that’s open til 8pm for emergencies in Manukau area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First place I have had to pay the fee before being seen. Doctor told me to "cut the attitude" when I was trying to explain my condition to her due to the lack of communication with nurses. Then she prescribed me over the counter medication ?♀️ $70 for a consulation that was less than 5 minutes. If your local, drive elsewhere because the service here is TRASH! They definitely deserve a zero star rating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a casual appointment today as my Doctor was fully booked. Found the staff friendly and Dr Shoeib was wonderful. He listened to my concerns without rushing me out the door. I Felt very relaxed and comfortable with him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. shoieb is incredible. Not only he has taken great care of my health, but also he is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. As i got kidney stone he treated me very great. I highly recommend him ?
