β β β β β We keep going back. Excellent meal every time we've been. It's our favourite restaurant. After living in South-East Asia for 7 years this place reminds us of being on holiday there. Two of our favourite meals are the Goat Curry and the Lamb Varuval.

β β β β β Lovely atmosphere. Big glass doors open to the breeze. Everything fresh & clean. Had an early dinner with a glass of rosΓ© after swimming in the warm ocean. Simple menu. Tasty food. Delicious roti. Perfectly flavoured rice. Way above being a takeaway.

β β β β β A bit of a mixed review. I ordered the laksa, it was delicious, and most of my group enjoyed their mains.
However, we ordered the seafood platter and the prawns were deep-fried and battered with the shell still on. So it made for an uncomfortable first mouthful. And having to peel off the shell and batter on the prawns defeated the purpose of battering them in the first place.

β β β β β Service was good, food not so much. Curry puffs were were bland and borderline cold, Iβm sure they werenβt fresh and just heated in the microwave. I got the roti with Sambal ($20) and it was not nice, I asked for medium/hot and it had no spice. Also was overcharged.

β β β β β Fantastic tasting food, lovely front staff. Lovely atmosphere, tidy & clean. Would be a fancy option for a low key date. Menu for dinner looks great. I usually go get take out from there even though I live 50 min away from it & take it home for dinner it's so good. Found it when I got stuck in Kapiti when there were all the slips. Definitly worth a visit.
