★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Viet Banh Mi ("filled roll" for us Kiwi's)...ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS....warm French baguette,, filled with (for moi: pork), fresh carrots and salad together with classic Viet sauce....South end of Lynn Mall, close to New Lynn train station too.....thank you to the lovely cooks!.....J.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meat shouldn't be warm the rest of it was incredibly average. I'm sure the other stuff might be good . But the bahn mi was a let down I have been searching auckland for a decent one . Sadly this isn't the place I asked for chilli didn't get it .also there was none of that pickled radish stuff the staff are friendly though ? I never write reviews but I was looking forward to this only to be let down ? oh well

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most Delicious Sandwich/Roll you will ever eat. Lemongrass Chicken Roll, ? ? ALWAYS ask for extra pate!! My mum prefers the Pork ?, so there's something for everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried Banh mi (Vietnamese baguette version) and Pho (beef noodle soup). They are very authentic and yum - highly recommended. They have a small table for dining at the place but mainly for take away.
The food stall is on the right hand side if you exit Lynmall by the Gate near Postie. (opposite Mc Donald from outside)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Properly named, the bahn mi was a delight. I got the lemongrass chicken and it was great. Especially the bread: crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. I got some extra chilli as offered, and I was expecting some chilli sauce. It turned out to be fresh chilli; which was even better and went very well with the bahn mi as a whole. Will be back when I feel like some bahn mi.

However the rolls were mild warm and the older staff member who works here made me wait and stand there for like 5 minutes before she entered the key pad for me to pay. I’d say this behaviour was really rude as there was no one in line. Didn’t give a smile back and was really slow with their work.
