★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pleased with my haircut by the male stylist at this salon. He knew what would suit my hair type, face shape and listened to my requests and suggested what he thought would suit me. Very happy with this haircut! I’ll definitely go again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Susan did a superb bob cut today as she did the first time. I’ve finally found a hairdresser who knows how to cut and style my curly hair! And I’m fussy!
And today 25 Jan 22 , Susan wasn’t there so had the same style cut by Joy. I think she did an even better job! Thanks Sharing Shed. You can’t please everyone but I’m one very happy customer and you won’t be losing me anytime soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made booking while standing in front of shop. Booking system allows you to book time slot in past is little odd. No one checked booking confirmation, just verbally asking. No vaccine pass verification, just showing screen of my vaccine pass, no scanning for verification nor asking for my photo ID. I only asked hair cut, no1 on the side and no3 on top with clipper. Haircut started, then hairdresser started shaving my beard with clipper without attachment “without asking”. I do understand wearing mask makes so hard for cutting hair and may be making little difficult to see beard under the mask however this is quite noticeable or usually any hairdresser ask before proceed to cut or shave, there was none of those. No apology from hairdresser. Let this hairdresser to finish off. Try to make payment then shop phone rings, I could see two other hairdresser sitting at the back chatting but somehow this hairdresser had to take phone call and I had to wait even further to make payment for absolutely unsatisfied finish of my haircut. I have been to this sharing shed for many times since 2010, I am sorry but this was the last time for me to get my haircut there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose the Sharing Shed to bring in our 3 year old for her first haircut because on your website it says family friendly, patient hairdressers, great prices and a lollipop. That is far from the experience we had.
Both staff at the Lynn mall salon were rude and impatient. They did not acknowledge or speak to my child, even after explaining that this was her first time. They demanded she get in the chair immediately, said if she screamed it wouldn't be happening and then they asked if I could hold her head still. If it wasn't her first experience I would have walked out and gone somewhere else. The woman was rough brushing her hair and it took less than 2 minutes to complete and all for $21 (what a rip off). The hairdresser then demanded I get her out of the chair, when there was no one waiting when I came in or when we left and after all that there was no lollipop at the end. I will never ever go back there again. To be honest I could have done a better job myself, absolutely awful experience.

I went to look at this salon, showed them a picture of what I wanted, they showed me more on their computer. Walked out with such a stunning haircut at just $39. I was so grateful. Short shaved sides with longer hair at the top/fringe. Really happy. Thank you so much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to the sharing shed New Lynn about 2 weeks ago now and the lady who cut my hair was super friendly. I actually took my ruler with me and pointed at it and said I only want 3 centimetres cut off my hair. I'm trying to grow my hair long. My hair was long on 1 side and short on the other from trying to cut it myself. I'm pretty sure they actually ended up cutting around 4-5 centimetres but I wasn't disappointed it was pretty much exactly what I hoped for and I got what I wanted
