Made the mistake of booking for 6:30 instead of 18:00 and after not being able to find my booking they then realised i was the one that hadn't turned up for breakfast. Although it was entirely my fault and they still found me a table i thought maybe they could have made contact after not showing?
Food tasted great but i'm not sure it was worth the value they were asking.
Service was not so great with our drinks turning up well after our starter which is normally the first thing to arrive. (would have ordered a second one if i wasn't nervous of it turning up after i leave) In general it took a long time for the server to come see us to the point when she same to see how our meals were we had already finished (i guess they were good) . The Steak knives we were given were the bluntest knives i have ever tried to use to cut a steak.

I'm very fair when it comes to my reviews and I don't say things negative lightly.
The fantastic food (5 out of 5) was let down by the appalling service.
The waitperson was really friendly, knew the menu and greeted us well. The issue was the timing. Not the pace of the food, but I ordered wine, which was forgotten. I also walked up to the bar to order another drink as the waitperson was obviously too busy. This may well be an under-staffing issue. The table next to us also walked to the bar to order drinks.
Covid 19 has been hard on the tourism industry and maybe the hotel is running at a lower staffing level than usual.
I'd definitely eat here again, and I will reiterate, the food was fantastic. I hope next time, there is more than 1 waitperson, as in my opinion that's all that is needed.

We have booked table for Saturday night and everything went smoothly from beginning to the end!
Food was soo delicious, all dishes had amazing flavor and even presentation of the food was great!
Bread starter was amazing!
T-bone steak as a sharing is a must try for two!
We would definitely come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s not fair to give 1 star to a restaurant because the front of the house it’s a mess , wait for a table even when you reserve it , the waitress/forgot the entree and came after the main, no steak knife for a steak, didt refill the glass of water or ask which wine I would like my meat with… but the chef cooked the eye fillet perfectly medium rare/red wine jus. Thanks to the chef and everyone inside the kitchen .
