β β β β β Excellent. A fab resurrection of an historic pub. Stop in for coffee, chips or a meal with excellent sea views. Ill definitely be returning.

β β β β β Really cool location. Very laid back place with a nice atmosphere. Great place for a beer (or a coffee) on the way home from mountain biking.

β β β β β Wendy who just bought the old All Nations backpacker is lovely host. It's okay to stay for one night. The sunset view down at the beach (2 mins) is worth the stop !!! But, backpackers needs some updates like the mattress and no common space except the small kitchen and only 1 toilet. I think Wendy is really trying to make it a great place again and the price is fair. I would say a short stay on the road in between 2 destinations is fine. And the pub is closed for those who heard about it ;-)

β β β β β The host, Wendy, was really nice. She picked me up in Greymouth, because I had no way to go there. Good place to do the 'make your own knife' and 'make your own jade' activity. Which was also really cool. It's a place to relax.
