β β β β β Flavorsome Indian cuisine for lunch and dinner. Great menu with reasonable prices and excellent customer service. Have been there many times, the service and food were just THE BEST.
The food is so tasty and authentic and possibly the best Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Shanks, Kadai Paneer I've had here in Christchurch. Ambiance is great and good place to hangout with friends and families.

β β β β β Now open a couple days for lunch. Their lunch offer is essentially everything on the menu to choose from but half the portion, comes with rice and naan for $18. We didn't go with the lunch options, had a main size lamb korma and a chicken biriyani instead. Their naan is thin but offers both soft and crisp on different layers. The food is great. Will definitely visit again to try other menu items.

β β β β β Great food however wait times are outrageous. We had a pick up order that took an extra 30minutes to be ready while we had to awkwardly wait. If they had told us it would take 45 minutes in total that is fine but being 30minutes longer is unacceptable.

β β β β β The manager gives false information to the customers about the quantity and when confronted about it, he keeps laughing and ignoring the customers. Such a bad customer service.

A few minutes after posting the review the manager calls me and tells me that this is not expected of me as a regular customer to post a bad review. Are we not supposed to give actual and honest reviews? And he also mentioned that the problem is with indian people. Being an Indian restaurant u should not be degrading your customers! Good to know about this mindset will never be stepping into this restaurant again..

Just for a reply to your answer, I was only rude when your manager started laughing while i was stating my problem. A gulab jamun is not the problem, its your manager that doesnβt have the decency to apologize and laugh at a customer. A simple understanding would have been okay.

we loved everything we ordered. Kids loved the afghani murgh! And basmatiβs chicken biryani is now my new favorite. Our server is very accomodating too. Will definitely come back for more! Thank you for an amazing experience! βΊοΈ

β β β β β Good tasty food, north Indian/Delhi style. One person with curly hair though, is rude and should be avoided at all costs.
However, the owner, Anand is gem of a person though. If you want rich aromatic north Indian, Delhi style food you will not be disappointed.

β β β β β Looking for a quick lunch before meeting and spotted Basmati - walked in large table of 20 it was 45 mins till my meeting. I asked for a table for 1 and whether it would be possible to have food real soon. The waiter said yes with a smile . Tended to me with speed and grace. Food was chicken daal and naan. It was huge and I thought I would not eat it all but it was so delicious, chicken melted in mouth. Great price great service, very aesthetically pleasing premises and I will definitely be back with friends ?

β β β β β Ordered online gravy manchurian and got dry manchurian. Mentioned two times pls make it gravy and quality has gone down too.
I was a repeat customer but it is not good at all this time.
