We have been to many different cuisine restaurants and this is one of the best Korean cuisine restaurants in New Zealand. This place opened not long a go, so the interiors and everything is so fresh. But the taste is quite authentic (it maybe less sweet and salty than the originals) to suit the local customers. After I live in NZ 20 years, it hits on my palate. Recommend.

Good attentive service. BBQ Set menu for 2 people was enough food to feel full. Meat is of good quality. Only disappointing aspect is no free refills of side dishes like kimchi. Which is pretty sad considering the prices of the meals. Other cheaper restaurants provide free refills.

The food did not justify the price! We ordered the marinated beef and pork. The beef was great but the pork was average. The side dishes were tiny portioned, the vermicelli one was dry and they only allowed refill for one side dish (other places allow more refill and a better priced. Customer service was good tho.

Loved it. Will need to try karaoke next time. We had a gap moment where we got missed in service but it did have a few customers arrive. Can the pork belly cuts be better? Plus lettuce should be served with it. Not as a garnish. Will definitely be back again.

Went for the first time and really enjoyed it. Very professional and quite a neat experience to be able to cook on the table in front of you. Good menu selection. The karaoke areas are all private and seperate, so doesn't disrupt the diners. Only area I'd improve would be the heating as it was a little chilly - could be because of the extraction needed for the BBQ. But would be happy to go again.

The meat quality was unreal! We had the marinated galbi and pork belly between the two of us and left feeling really satisfied. A great selection of side dishes too. We came on a Saturday night without reservation but were seated no problem - lucky! Will definitely be coming back. A big thank you to the owner(s) for their attention to detail (rare!) and for making this the best kbbq experience I’ve had in NZ! Can’t wait to try the whole menu

Now, this is solid real korean bbq, fantastic! Everything we ordered turned out to be lovely, everything! Also love their decoration and ambiance, service is also extraordinary, waiting staff are always smiling, professional and patient to explain, something most Korean restaurants fall short of. This has become my go to Korean bbq place, well, other than home lol. The only minor problem I have is that lettuce, something so important and essentially to Korean bbq, has to be ordered separately from the meat, and it costs a whopping 12 dollars!!!!!!! Just one little bunch of lettuce! That’s little disgraceful to say the least.

The BEST Korean BBQ restaurant I have been to. Everything was so clean and well designed, I wish I lived closer I would be here every week! Their set menu for 2 was so good ($91 total), the seafood pancake as a starter really hit the spot. Crispy, tasty and perfectly seasoned. 4 traditional sides; shredded sweet soy potato, glass noodles (my favorite), kim chi, and bean curd sheets, plus a fresh shredded salad were great additions as well. The beef short rib was so incredibly marinated I wanted more! By the time we got to the pork belly I was regretting not wearing stretchy pants. The set menu also came with a stone pot fried rice topped with seaweed that was cute but a bit bland for my tastebuds, but mixed with a lil kim chi was perfect. Our servers were very nice and cute, they explained what to do and answered all my questions kindly. We got a booth to ourselves and had a great time. Highly recommended! Will definifely go back next time I'm in Christchurch. Excellent service.
