★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed how quiet it was compared to some other places I have been to recently, food was good, staff were friendly, the only thing I'd say is that we arrived a hour and a half before close time and they started to pack the food away 30mins into our dinning.
The waitress started cleaning around us and other guest, the whole dining hall all of a sudden smelt like chemicals from the cleaning, I would've thought they might waited till we left so we wouldn't have to smell chemicals while we still ate but they didn't.
They also put up all the chairs on the empty tables that weren't occupied, which made everyone still dinning feel like we had to hurry up and get out. Even though there was still 30mins before close time Which kinda ruined the experience for me.
I loved it up until she started cleaning and packing up early.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good deal ($20) for buffet dinner. Not much options when compared to the nearby Paradise, but the food is is tastier than their competitor. The service is better than Paradise and not crowded at all. Would have been better if they keep the food warm all the time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a gr8 experience. Service was ok. Paneer was bit row. Nome of the curries had any wow element to it. Just really ordinary food.Paying 25$ is not worth it. Buffet unattended many time leaving the the customers waiting. No Rotis are served only naans. Requested the manager and fortunately he agrred to serve some rotis. Worst and the wrost thing is I felt my stomach was upset and had a sick call at work next day. It helped me with a sick call, but I didn't need one :(.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was there only one time eating lunch. The cheapest price for buffet lunch you can get in Auckland at $16 per person only, but you get what you paid for. You can take only one plate per person. It mean you have to clean it each time you want to take another food. This no sink to wash it, so I use tissues to clean it. It is more self service offer not like at "Valentines" or "Happy Days" where staff look after you. Limited verity of food and no offer of Tea or Coffee at all and no sweets avaliable. Food is chilly if you not get used to eat it as it is an Indian food. But what surprise me most that standart can of soft drink coast $2.5 (the price on self) if you but it or with takeaways. But for buffer lunch it will cost you $3 (extra 50 cents). Why is that different price with lunch for soft drink? But they provide glass and bottle of water for lunch. I will give only 3 Starts and will choose to pay more but eat at "Valentines" where you also get more for your money and where staff looking after you. Thanks

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As expected differentiated cooking in Sandringham food culture… enjoyed the smooth blend of spices though I prefer storming my tongue with hot pepper… dessert was good…. Sitting was comfy … red carpet needs to give better match to surrounding. It was dirty and will go well with street food kiosks outside… juice as drink in thermo cups again don’t well … need to have decent cups and quality drink … let it be green tea or herbal drink but definitely not this juice. Respect the chef by raising quality of drink to blend with spicy meal. It’s disheartening to find Ethiopian staff have great ideas not exploited in Sandringham. Cheer up ….overall it was well connected sitting arrangements with meal .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for the lunch buffet. It's only $16 but there's not much choices in terms of dishes/ breads to choose .For example Paradise around the corner has more choice. But unlike other joints this restaurant perfectly captures the spice level and taste ?. I was told that menu changes regularly so I'll probably visit again. Service was okay but ambience can be improved imo
