Having a dental clean is not something any of us look forward to, but Hayley makes the visit as pleasant and enjoyable as you could wish for. She is very professional but at the same time puts you at ease. She has really helped me to learn how to look after my teeth, and my dental health has improved! I would recommend Bayside Dental to everyone

I just finished my first treatment of root canal in Bayside. The doctor's skill is absolutely superb. I didn't feel anything during the whole procedure. Even for the second day, no pain, no swollen gum. The nurse and receptionist are very helpful and professional. I feel lucky to choose Bayside after several days' comparison.

Overfilled one of my fillings which I had to have redone at another dentist as it was putting too much pressure on my bite and giving me pain. I wasn't even sure I needed fillings, having had no dental treatment aside from regular check ups my entire adult life. After a routine x-ray (I had no symptoms) Zena said she wanted to "crack" open one of my molars to take a look, so I said ok because she seemed concerned. She drilled a little, then did the same to other molars and started talking about needing to "save the teeth" and asked me whether to continue. Being vulnerable in the chair, unsure, and having to choose between trusting her and walking away with now "open" molars I nodded for her to continue, but I didnt fully understand what was happening and I didn't know I was having fillings until halfway through further drilling and I heard the assistant say the word "filling" during conversation with Zena. When I asked to see the x-rays afterwards there was no decay marks I could see (nor from a second opinion with a separate dental practice later on (although staining was identified during the second opinion checkup, heavy tea drinker)), and when I asked Zena about this she just shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know what to tell you but it was there". At the other dentist they identified the fillings as going very deep in a second x-ray (done to investigate my ongoing pain) which may be the cause of ongoing nerve pain (from the drilling). I don't understand why they needed to be so deep when there was no decay on the original x-rays done by Zena, or even if they needed to be done at all. I had had no symptoms, it was all because Zena had an apparent concern during routine check up which then led to several fillings and a bunch of preventative fillings leading to a hefty bill. I am absolutely disgusted and it's a shame because the hygienist was good, but I wouldn't trust this practice again. If you do go ahead, proceed with caution, and maybe get a second opinion first.

Such a warm, friendly relaxed welcome makes you feel at ease from the minute you walk in. Hayley did such an exceptional job cleaning my teeth I can't stop smiling.

Fabulous service by Zena and her team once again at Bayside dental. They look after me so well. I'm the biggest whimp when it comes to dental work and they take special care to make sure I'm comfortable. Thanks team.

From the moment you walk in and meet Toni at reception you are made to feel so welcome. As someone who has an irrational fear of the dentist, it really makes a difference to be treated so kindly. Zena is amazing, so gentle and calm and willing to talk you through different options. I highly recommend this dental practice.

I have been a long time patient with Bayside Dental . Last year I found out that my teeth were wearing out and I needed partial dentures. At first I thought of having it done overseas as it was less expensive . But then I decided to have it here where follow up is easier. Dr. Zena examined all my teeth and recommended that I needed to have crowns, veneers , partial dentures and to have 2 teeth extracted. She explained very patiently how its going to be done.. It was a big job, and took a long time. and she would only accept it when it was perfectly done. Some days it was painful other days I had to be on the dentist chair for long hours, but I was very relaxed and at ease because of Dr. Zena being very professional, calm, caring, and very gentle. And the wonderful staff made it even easier. Thank you Maria ( always smiling and making sure that I was OK, she even played some music from my country to make me relax !). Thank you Tony , oh she is wonderful, very organised with a big smile , calling me the next day asking how I felt and always there to arrange for emergency visits. Now my big job is done and I look different wanting to smile showing my teeth. All my friends were telling me that it made a big difference on how I look. I had (17 teeth fixed - some crowns and others veneers) and a very comfortable partial denture. Thank you Dr. Zena for everything , you made it all happen..
