★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Emma & Fidel are fantastic hosts!! As visitors to the region, they helped plan our day trip to Akaroa and had awesome suggestions to maximize our day. The motel is a short drive to best fish & chips I've had in a while as well as a good Chinese restaurant. It's a 10min walk to Margaret Mahey playground which our daughter loved. A wonderful motel - we'll definitely be staying again next time we're in the city.

Room wasn’t the one which we were promised to get.
Things were not working as it should. Got told that it cannot be fix until Monday ( it was Saturday)
Because of that we got offered discount but it actually was a lie promise ( apparently the receptionist who offered us wasn’t know that what she can offer)so I got told that it can’t be true that the receptionist offered me but the manager said she is not going to ask the receptionist what did she offer to me.
At the end of the day, it was very disappointing,…
I did go back to ask about what is happening with fixing electric blanket on Saturday night also I did say they are still not working on Sunday night
Also extracting fun for cooking wasn’t working,
Dishwasher was smelling so bad, can’t used it also there’s no instructions to use anyway.
No tv remote for bedroom tv .
And out of all when I was explaining all you said it’s not true what I got offered by your staff ( calling me a lair rather than contacting your staff to ask ) it’s bad you don’t train your staff to know what they can offer without asking you. It shouldn’t be taken out on a customer .
It’s all ok at the end of the day they were small things I didn’t want to keep going on to the receptionist to complain every time something wrong because I was ok as I got offered discount but I shouldn’t be call a lair because you don’t want to keep your promise.
