BestStart Havelock North provides education and childcare for children aged 2 to 6 in the heart of the village. We're open from 7.45am to 5.15pm all year round and provide nutritious meals for all our children to enjoy.

We are a New Zealand-owned charity with preschools, kindergarten (kindy), Montessori and early-childhood home-based services nationwide.
BestStart has over 260 early childhood centres from Whangarei to Invercargill. All our centres use the New Zealand curriculum Te WhΔriki, preparing children for their formal education at school. Our trained teachers support children to belong, thrive and achieve through the world-recognised philosophy of learning through play.
