About BestStart Heuheu Street Kindy
We are a New Zealand-owned charity with preschools, kindergarten (kindy), Montessori and early-childhood home-based services nationwide.
BestStart has over 260 early childhood centres from Whangarei to Invercargill. All our centres use the New Zealand curriculum Te Whāriki, preparing children for their formal education at school. Our trained teachers support children to belong, thrive and achieve through the world-recognised philosophy of learning through play.
Our commitment to every parent ensures every child is cared for and supported in a warm, friendly and positive environment. We have excellent staff-to-child ratios, with qualified and caring teachers, quality equipment, toys and a safe and attractive learning environment.

We are very grateful to have come across this Kindy, my daughter loves this place bits, so going to be hard for her to leave everyone behind when it comes to going to the big girl school next year..

The staff are absolutely amazing - they are so supportive, patient, and most importantly introduce a love of learning. Would highly recommend going and having a look if you are on the hunt for childcare! :)
