I ordered
Waffles ? with White Chocolate and a Berry compote & side of Bacon .
Also accompany by a Large soya Mocha.
Loved the mocha , great job
Kinda sad about the waffle if they were fresh out of the maker it would of be perfect . It was still a 7/10 the meal I would try the eggs Benedict next time . And I be keen to try more ☺️ great hospitality as well very top notice can’t wait to come back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popped in for a quick lunch. Food was great and the burger portion size was really big. Kids lunches were great too, Had to get a doggy bag for the one of kids as they couldn’t finish their lunch at the time. Outside seating area was great on a warm sunny day. Thumbs up from us.

Coffee was perfect temp and taste
French toast
Was very very sweet and as a dish very heavy
and quite hard to enjoy if I'm being completely honest
But I will be back the staff that front counter was very lovely and welcoming. So ill give them another try with something a little less sweet

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Spoon and Paddle has a nice relaxed vibe to it, and a lot of nice outdoor seating, which was especially good on a sunny day. The food was delicious and I got more than expected (I had the Bao Buns). Service was quick, and the staff friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here on our honeymoon a few years back and it was delicious - I am happy to report there’s still the great same food and service today. This is the ideal cafe stop in Taupo.
Today we had the hash stack and eggs Benedict, all perfectly cooked. There’s a strong coffee game here too with nice latte art. Great outdoor seating and ambience.
