★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very Nice friendly and helpful staff and good bikes. But as far as accessories go, most products can be found online (The exact same ones) for about 20% less.
This business seems to work very well with sales. Sadly it seems they no longer need new business and customers.
The only phone you will find on their website are mobile phones. Good luck trying to get hold of the Newmarket branch as the manager NEVER ever answer his phone (Other people have tried more than 40 times over the past few weeks) and the answering message just says: "Hi, this is Chris from Bikes & Beyond. Do not leave a message..."
I imagine they are loosing thousands of $ each day with this practice....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bike was faulty from date of purchase. B & B Newmarket refused to refund purchase price as per Consumers Guarantee Act. Extremely unpleasant & stressful experience. Long story short I contacted the manufacturer of the ebike for assistance & they, to their credit , arranged a refund as per CGA. Worst retail experience of my life. I'll never deal with Chris again, thankfully. Would not recommend.

They had two weeks of work booked when I came in, but when they realised how bad my brakes and other problems had got, they fixed my bike in a day.
(I didn't buy the bike originally at their shop either).
And apart from the big problems, they took care of a host of issues I didn't even know were there. Simply amazing work.
Thanks Bikes and Barbers!!!!

Every visit a different a problem.
Snapped chain because the derailleur was put back on incorrectly after a tyre change.
Told "Your bike is ready to collect" - what they meant was it was ready to collect from the store on waiheke island ( I dropped it off in new market).
Motor replaced under warranty. Told that my pedal cranks were bent - definitely not the case when I dropped it off.
Now I have bike that looks like this because they lost me original pedal and they took the replacement off because I refused to pay for it.
Oh and the store owner argued with me from a meter away with his mask off.
Do Not Buy From Them.

He was very understanding that I couldn’t afford a luxury bike being a slightly over minimum wage retail assistant in the middle of Auckland, so he went out of his way to make a great offer with a secondhand one. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic service, thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys will go the extra mile for you. So impressed with their service. I purchased a cargo bike and wanted it delivered to Christchurch. It was a difficult task as there were a lot of accessories and the bike itself was huge. They did it in a quick and efficient manner and for a very reasonable price. They were very transparent through the whole process. If you are anywhere in NZ, I would highly recommend these guys for your bike purchases.
