THE WHOLE PLACE WAS TASTEFULLY DECORATED - THERE WERE LOTS OF MAGAZINES TO READ AND A GOOD SUPPLY OF BOARD GAMES. KEVIN - THE HOST AND HIS WIFE - WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND COULDN'T DO ENOUGH FOR US. WE THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND IT AND WILL BE BACK TO STAY AGAIN, JEANETTE

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As my home wasn't ideal for a doing a large work Zoom video conference, I booked to stay here for the event. The hosts made their beautiful guests lounge available to me to use for 3 hours for this. The fire made the room cosy and it also provided a lovely backdrop for my Zoom.
In a previous life, Bird Cottage had been the old Martinborough Schoolhouse. This was transported to this lovely spot and has been fully refurbished with a modern decor and with all amenities provided for. Spacious rooms and rural views made for a very relaxing stay. I felt so at home I didn't want to leave so I stayed an extra night even though my home was just around the corner ?
The accommodation is 10 minutes walk from the city centre ??? and is surrounded by trees and farmland. The hosts are warm, friendly and very helpful.
