★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed the ambiance here, casual yet styley themed, love the whole Chicken theme. Music was good and the right volume, staff provided good service without being intrusive, food was nice and as expected for a place like this, we were surprised how many people on a Wednesday night popped in to enjoy a meal here, obviously the place has regulars which is a sign of a good well-liked eatery. The chocolate waffles were totally next level and we both joked we could easily come back and just enjoy a casual catch up over the waffles, delicious! will be back to try the belgium waffles next! Two very satisfied chefs having a night off cooking :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I missed the opening day 3 months ago. Seems like Hamilton East is becoming a great dining spot for the city. Nice decorations, enjoyed the service and amazing food. We just ordered two dishes, Parmegiana and salad. Loved the seasoning in the salad, specifically the tofu one, which makes a great combination with kumara. The chicken was fantastic and worth every penny. The salon was not too full when we arrived, but when we left most of the tables were full. Good signal of a great place to be. For kids, awesome to see heaps of colorful pencils to entertain them while waiting for the food. Certainly will come back soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good customer service, however the meals I ordered were underwhelming. Korean chicken bowl - coleslaw tasted old and had no dressing, the cucumbers were soft and flaccid like they were old as well. The spicy Mayo was a stunner, but the overall portion was pretty small, especially with the chicken. Don’t know whether the rice was supposed to be cold or not, but it was. Bao buns were a mixture between dry and soggy, not much flavour and were cold. Garlic bread tasted good but was also cold. There was not a large variety of alcoholic drinks either unfortunately. Kudos for effort, but there is some room for improvement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the bird on a waffle and it was fab! Real soft waffle, great chicken. Massive feed! The iced americano was great too. Will definitely be back! Happy opening day, team! Edit: been back more than a few times. Have a hard time going past the waffle but have tried the Mother Clucker and a bird bowl too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good quality food. Only criticism was that the quantity of the food was varied. The rice bowls were a bit small in serving size based on the price. Wait staff were really friendly and the place wasn't busy so the food arrived in a reasonable time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was okay, nothing special. The place was pretty dirty there were fingerprints marks all over the jug of water which we were given, and there were flies lingering all around the tables
The food was very average there seemed to be absolutely no seasoning on the chicken that I got with the eggs Benedict. Also got the Korean fried chicken burger and I expected a thick crunchy chicken inside but instead it had absolutely no crunch at all.
Customer service was okay, the only thing which was kind of confusing was the 15% surcharge on top of the bill which we weren’t told about until after we finished our meal. I had no problem paying it but would have been a lot more considerate if we were told about the surcharge before eating so we could agree to it instead of being slammed with the extra charge afterwards

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the Vegan beyond burger and it was absolutely delicious! The fries also came with vegan tumeric mayo which was absolutely delicious. Then for dessert I got the Vegan chocolate sundae but they made it vegan for me and its not usually on their menu. They made it especially for me. Then they made me a vegan garlic flat bread for me and gave it to me for free. The Indian guy in front of house is the best! The staff are so friendly. The food was absolutely scrumptious, definitely worth a visit.
