★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't have the best experience here. For starters, the address is the same as the Pharmacy, with no clear instruction where to go. I asked a worker at the Pharmacy where the Birkenhead Podiatry clinic was and she said she had no idea. 10 mins later while trying to find it, late to my appointment, I asked another person at the same pharmacy and they pointed to a little door within the same building, not clearly labelled at all.
The other reason I am offering 2 stars is that the podiatrist wanted to charge me $280 for a pair of basic orthotics (Not including consult), and $240 for every pair after that. This isn't my first pair I've had in a lifetime and was shocked at the price. When questioned, the podiatrist informed me that prices have gone up, so didn't question further. Two weeks later I committed to ordering my orthotics and they had misplaced the notes they took on my feet and current worn orthotics, so I didn't bother putting a payment through and that was the last of it.
Fast forward I now went to another clinic (Footwise) off glenfield road, the person I saw this time gave me orthotics on the day, cost me $140 including the consult, and much more confidence she knew what she was doing. She also did an ultrasound on a bump on my ankle which is swelling from Psoriatic arthritis. This was at no extra cost. So all in all, if you want value for money, don't overpay for what I deemed to be an average service from Mobile feet podiatry.
I want to be clear, I didn't receive bad service from your podiatrist, just an overall average experience which is absolutely a rip off and not consumer friendly by any means.
