★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought something at this Ihc shop in birkenhead from the shop only for another assistant come over saying I can't have it for the price I bought it for as it was the wrong price on it. She couldn't still let me have it as it was only a little thing. Might even be illegal.she demanded it back. Very mean and Not nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came into this shop with my partner, we are both regulars at the opshops around Highbury and was shocked to hear how rude the staff in this shop were. My partner has visible tattoos and the minute we walked in I overheard the staff make snarky and very rude, judgemental comments about him without even knowing him, they will not be getting my money again and I will not be coming back here. Disappointed in this as I have been in here many times and have not had this experience, might be new staff.

Am very surprised to see a couple of poor reviews - even if customers do have a bad experience with the VOLUNTEER staff, why should that be a bad reflection of the excellent cause that the very small amount of money spent there goes toward? Seriously, it's a blimmin charity shop!!!!

At lunch time. The lady made a very rude and personal comment to me and yet again within my earshot she was chatting about me. She doesn’t know me snd this is unacceptable! I wasn’t even out of the shop and she could see me as my back was turned on my way out and well within earshot - it’s a small dinghy little shop.
.Looking at the other reviews this seems like a common occurrence. I am local here and I do not tolerate disrespect or poor customer service .I will follow this up for sure and won’t spend my money here.nor bring anything to give away . There are plenty of other charities to donate to that are professional and respectful.I hope your shop closes down as we do not need your rudeness and inappropriate behavior here in our lovely community. I think I have been generous awarding you one star.
