β β β β β I stayed here for about 3 weeks as I'm finding a job in Auckland.
PROS:
-Staff is friendly and helpful (especially the lady w/dogs at reception who was always this)
-Bathrooms always stayed clean; tenants usually kept it clean and cleaners always did their job
-On a quiet street, I barely heard any outside noise and it's easy to walk to shops or take the bus
CONS:
-For some reason, I couldn't get wifi on my laptop, just on my phone, even though I got wifi access on there at the last place I stayed at (however this may be more of a problem with my laptop than them I think)
-Dryers take too long. When I first came here, it took me 2 hours to dry my load. If you put too much in at one time, it doesn't dry at all.
-Thin walls, usually hear a lot when you're in a single room
-Towels and blankets are not free, you need to pay $4 NZD each as they need to wash them afterwards
-Elevator is rickety and always closes too fast
Overall, despite all the cons I listed I didn't have any serious problems. Nobody bothered me and I had a decent time over there.

β β β β β This place is really clean. And it is in a good location, near Queens Street. The kitchen stays open all night, which allowed me to cook anytime. And they were always welcoming. Even the largest room has only 4 beds, so it is quiet everyday.

β β β β β Very helpful staff. Nice rooms that are very clean. Clean kitchen. Pool table and lounge for inside hangouts. Good area with lots of restaurants around as well. Good value per night.

β β β β β I stayed in this hostel for a while, itβs very clean and nice to live in.
Staff is really friendly and helpful.
It is not a hostel for party so if you are a chill, and just want to go out on the weeknd this is for you!
The area is full of place to eat and there is good bars around ;)
Follow the rules, its everything in this hostel you have to know.

β β β β β Really nice hostel. Bathrooms are clean, beds were comfortable, little bit out of the city but that also makes it more quiet which I liked. Supermarkets are therefore a 15 min walk but convenience stores were right around the corner, so that made up for it :)

β β β β β The rooms are clean, smell good as well as the bed sheets, blankets and pillow.
The bathrooms are always cleaned and smelling good.
Showers have good pressure and temperature.
The service is pretty nice too.
Kitchen was always clean and has plenty of cutlery and pans to do the work.
Laundry has washing machines but you have to pay 2 dolars for wash and 2 for drying.

β β β β β Absolutely wonderful! My first hostel, and I was so grateful for how clean it is! My twin room was the perfect amount of space and privacy, and the bathrooms and kitchens were always very clean. I love the location on K road too.
The only complaint I had was that our window was stuck open, so it got very cold at night. But I just got a blanket and layered up - nothing to worry about! :)

β β β β β Dont stay here if you value your safety. The place is occupied by gang members and other delinquents. Felt unsafe the minute we entered, were threatened and didnt even end up staying the night. Management offered no apologies let alone a refund. Avoid at all costs
