★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 10/10 I'm staying a while in Auckland and at the Kiwi International Hotel for business, great staff, location, prices, very clean, comfortable and quite. Laundry Room as well.

The rooms are clean and comfortable the staff are welcoming and friendly
The domestic staff are top class and always ensure you are comfortable if you need something extra ie pillows they will deliver
The hotel is in the CBD so restaurants and bars are plentiful and for every palette

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff we're helpful but other than that the state of the accommodation was below average. Take your own cutlery and plates, the towels are near to threadbare, the pillows really urgently need to replaced. You will stay at this place for no other reason than because you need a bed to sleep in while you're out all day doing whatever you have too.....I couldn't wait to leave the next day. 2/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Front desk staff absolutely disgusting customer service, is so passive agrgresive , (the darker lady) they take a 100 dollar bond for damages but won’t check one self into the room with a staff member and inspect the current state of it. Would definitly rather stay next door! The prices are a bit higher but at least you’ll get ya bond back if they even ask for one would not recommend staying here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was tiny, drafty, and not remotely sound proof. Windows let in lots of outside noise. Sewer line ran right above room and could loudly hear every time someone flushed. Beds are on castors so if you move even slightly the bed rolls away from the wall and you lose your pillows.
Shower had zero pressure so unusable.
That said it's very cheap and a solid location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was very old building, unpleasant cigarette smoking odour all over the building, and carpet inside the rooms is very dirty needs to be removed. Those details you can't see in online advertising, as photos featured look better and don't tell you that the whole building air is polluted with cigarette chemicals. Not safe for baby or small children, my toddler fell sick and I also fell sick right after, then found a better place to move into. This old hotel is definitely only for low budget emergency, and for people who don't have health sensitivity. Otherwise, the cleansing of bathroom, towels and tea with milk, all those are provided daily. Rooms are very small, only suitable for one adult. Lift is very tiny, ancient outdated design from last century. Definitely needs some new renovation, and design. Personal was very kind and helpful, thank you all very much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This establishment is really affordable and has 24 hour desk service which is really great for those who are trying to find somewhere to stay after late hours. Night manager was a bit short with us but I just chalk it up to both parties being tired at 2 in the morning. And they were very understanding and it was a generally nice stay ? and they give complimentary soap to use for the bathrooms, however the only bad thing I do have to mention is the doors are very loud, you are trying to be quiet but all the door keep slamming or squeeling, I hope this review might do something about it.
