★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disgusting.
The room had a putrid or odur, akin to dried menstrual blood/ and or something dead in our room.
Tried to arrange a car park prior. No one ever answered the phone.
Light bulbs missing from the lamps, some of the room was clearly not clean.
Shower pressure was non existent.
Service was poor.
Won't be going again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staying here whilst hubby is waiting for Heart Surgery. I love that it is well priced, clean and always maintained daily. I leave in the morning and return to a clean and re-supplied room always. Highly recommend this hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was a nightmare.
Bed bugs all over the freaking place.
(Leave alone the human spots on bed sheet)
We were moved to a different room at around 2 am, couldn’t sleep at all sitting on chairs all night.
So lucky we didn’t bring any back with our clothes.
Honestly the most disgusting experience ever.
NEVER book any room here.
Staff didn’t apologize and act like nothing happened in the morning when we checked out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usually don’t ever review anything but probably worse stay I’ve ever had. Staff member was nice so nothing bad about him at all! but we moved rooms 3 times and the one we ended up in, we found someone’s hospital bracelet, a toddler knife, hand cream and shampoo bottle all around the room/under bed, Oven didn’t have a knob to turn it either. Had to go down numerous times to sort issues out and wasn’t ever told prior to coming that the room we had booked, was actually unavailable. If it wasn’t for being moved to our third room at 9pm, I would have asked for a full refund and gone back home to the Waikato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfectly adequate place to stay. Some minor niggles around door closers being far too strong and other guests not taking that into account. They close extremely loudly. Its a bit of a schlep up Queen Street "mountain" but you can easily pick up a bus or Uber. Not much more to say!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is misleading.
Advertised as full kitchen. The knobs have been removed from the oven and there are no pots and pans so it is physically impossible to use the facilities.
Stains on the bedding. Bed making was sloppy and despite offering daily room cleaning, the bed was only made some days.
Shower was very poor. Either thermonuclear or Luke warm. 70% of the water was in one direction with the rest of the water spraying around the room. No extractor in the bathroom.
The bathroom is separated from the room with a frosted glass wall. Not great if you have more than one person using the room.
There was a very unusual odour throughout the place. It smelt like they were covering up an offensive smell with an overdose of air freshener.
Rooms were not sound proof. Could hear the tv and people talking in the room next door.
The door into the hallway sits about 5cm off the ground so there is a solid beam of bright light coming into the room all night.
Swipe card stopped working mid stay so couldn’t get into my room. No apology offered.
Plugged my charger into the bedside electrical socket and sparks flew out.
I would not book to stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great 2 bedroom suite. Beds are very comfortable and very large
Very clean and new bedding and bathroom towels changed. We have a kitchen with microwave, oven, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and utensils. The bathroom is spot on clean. This is the cheapest place in the city. The restaurant closed due to covid, but they open for breakfast in the morning. You choose from the continental buffet or from the hot cooked breakfast menu.
We know where to book anytime we come to Auckland.
